What does a cyber security analysts do?
A cybersecurity analyst is a professional responsible for protecting an organization's computer systems and networks from security breaches and cyber threats. Their primary goal is to safeguard digital assets, sensitive information, and ensure the continuity of business operations. The duration of SOC analyst training programs in Mississauga can vary based on factors such as the depth of content, the training format (full-time, part-time, online, on-site), and the prior experience of participants. Forensic Analysis:Perform forensic analysis on security incidents to understand the scope, impact, and root causes. Prioritize and address vulnerabilities to reduce the risk of exploitation. Document findings for future reference and improvement. Industry-recognized certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), may also be part of the training or pursued separately.
