AutoCAD was first introduced in the month of December in 1982 as a desktop app running on microcomputers with internal graphics controllers. Initially AutoCAD was derived from a program called Interact, which was written in a proprietary language. This application allows sharing of files with multiple people, no matter how large the file. It was supported by 750 training centers worldwide in the year 1994. It has been an asset for the 3D design industry for more than 30 years. They are also adopted as a skill development application for a graduate-level of education. It is used in industry by architects, civil engineers, graphic designers, city planners and many other professionals.
