Forensic Analysis:Perform forensic analysis on security incidents to understand the scope, impact, and root causes. Document findings for future reference and improvement. Some programs may be intensive, lasting a few weeks, while others may be part-time over several months. . Network and System Security:Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions. Configure and manage security infrastructure to protect against unauthorized access. Industry-recognized certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), may also be part of the training or pursued separately in Kelowna . Security Policies and Compliance:Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Prioritize and address vulnerabilities to reduce the risk of exploitation. Stay updated on changes in cybersecurity laws and regulations.
